TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. Our commitment to you.
    a. Confidentiality- All information you give to us will be kept in confidence. Your personal details and medical information will not be made available to third parties unless permission to do so is granted by you.
    b. Recommendations- Using our judgment and experience, we will suggest certain exercises and other lifestyle advice that we believe will help you achieve your personal goals, but if at any time you have specific requests please tell us so we can accommodate them.
    c. Referral- We intend to work with you within the scope of our knowledge and competencies as Registered Exercise Professionals. Therefore when we believe it is in your best interests to see another health professional, we will refer you appropriately.
    d. If we (the trainer) cancels or runs late- Unforeseen circumstances may arise which require sessions to be rescheduled. In this event the following policy will apply:
    • If we are forced to cancel our session within 12 hours we will make up the session at no charge to you.
    • If we are forced to cancel our session giving you more than 12 hours notice we will reschedule as soon as possible
    • If we run late in starting our session we will extend the session time accordingly or make it up at a future date, whichever is most convenient to you.

  2. Your responsibilities to us.
    a. Disclosure of information- Please disclose all health information as requested at our initial consultation and keep us updated and informed of any changes to your health status. This includes all medical conditions; physical and mental, injuries, allergies, and medication you are taking. If necessary, you may need to seek clearance from your doctor before participation in the exercise programme I recommend.
    b. Accepting potential risks- Whilst for most people exercise is hugely positive with many health benefits, there remains some risk that we require you to be aware of and for you to sign the informed consent and disclaimer that we will provide. The sessions will be kept safe without any hazards but any risks are solely the responsibility of the client.
    c. If you (the client) cancel or run late.
    • If you cancel your session with less than 24 hours notice, or fail to show you will be required to pay 100% of the session fee.
    • If you are late to a session, we will do our best to get the most out of the remaining time left in the session as we are unable to run over time due to previously arranged client commitments.
    d. Being prepared for your session- To get the most out of your session I recommend the following:
    •Have a small snack or light meal two or three hours before your session.
    •Be sure you are well hydrated and avoid alcohol prior to training.
    •If you are feeling unwell before your session please contact us.
    •Bring a small towel and water bottle to your session and wear appropriate clothing.
    •Be ready at the appropriate time, please do not arrive more than 10 minutes prior to session.
    e. Communication and Commitment.
    While we can give you the tools and encouragement to reach your goals, ultimately you will need to assume responsibility for making the required changes. We can best help you with this process if you keep us fully informed of any issues that arise for you and if you have any questions or concerns whatsoever please don’t hesitate to voice them with us. This process is all about honesty and trust between us so please talk to us about any concerns you may have throughout.

  3. Rules of the contract.
    a. Sessions must be completed within the agreed contract term, consistency is key to success so keeping up with your weekly sessions is crucial, however we know that it’s not always easy to keep up with. Therefore you can carry over sessions from week to week but you must fit all sessions within the contracted term or they will be lost.
    b. Payment option- All recurring payments are taken by STRIPE credit/debit card payment, all up front payments can be taken by bank transfer unless otherwise agreed between client and owner.
    c. Cancel- Please note that the agreement cannot be cancelled during the initial term. There is a strict no refund policy due to the nature of our services and time and effort spent outside of face to face sessions, therefore all decisions are final. Please be aware that once you have committed to any upfront payment, or payment plan, it must be fulfilled. If you would like to extend the current contract, this can be arranged under the decision of the owner.

    d. If extreme special circumstances arise, you may fill in a cancellation form (please see below). We will endeavour to look into the reasons for your cancellation and you will need to provide evidence on this. Once this is carefully considered, a decision will be made on your cancellation. Please go into as much detail to the reasons of your cancellation as possible so we can judge the correct conclusion. All decisions are of the right of TS Personal Training & Nutrition and all decisions are final,

       e, Rolling monthly memberships- If you wish to cancel your rolling monthly membership we require 30 days notice from the date of your next payment for cancellation. If your           cancellation notice is within the 30 day period then your next monthly payment will be taken and your sessions will run for a further 4 weeks. All cancellations must be in writing on the form below.
